Email Notifications and Privacy (03/14/2011)
In this release, we have have rolled out two amazing features allowing members to stay engaged and giving them piece of mind.
New Features
- Email updates – Giving members and easy way to stay up-to-date with the content they want in the frequency they desire all without having to sign in
- Private content – Responding to customer suggestions we have created a simple way for members to know if the content that is posted is private and who has permission to see it
- More ways to access and edit member info – By clicking on the names of member in the member management sections you are taken straight to that member contact information in edit mode. Another way is by selecting “Edit Contact Information” from the actions dropdown at the bottom of the contact information modal.
Bug Fixes- Group and Member search now returning accurate results
- Group directory map view highlights groups when selected from list
- Member directory map view now displays member about information when selected
Embedding Media (02/07/2011)
In this release, we have have expanded our post functionality, given more control over your groups and a few bug fixes, including:
New Features
- Embed media into posts, including images, video, and streaming audio
- Delete anyone’s comment as an admin within the system
- No longer view private groups and member-only content on their profile, to eliminate confusion
- Hide unlisted groups from members’ profile pages
Bug Fixes- Links to profile pages now working for manually added members
- Sharing via email now including properly formatted custom message content
- Links to picking your password fixed for manually added members
- Event end-times being fixed for events that span multiple days
- Pagination fixes on the group member additions
Beta Bug Slaying (12/21/2010)
In this release, we have been hard at work slaying bugs, plus a couple new interface updates that will make your exploration and navigation much, much easier, including:
- The “Join Our Community” banner on the homepage is now replaced with a welcome message and useful navigation links once a member signs in
- Sub-navigation now includes contextual options for Admins, Group Admins, and Members alike
- Feeds have been updated and optimized for Facebook, though Facebook’s delivery timing is still out of our hands
