Get Involved

SoKids

Each week your kids will have the opportunity to enter age appropriate environments to learn all about Jesus in a way that they can understand. We utilize games, large group teaching, songs, crafts, and discussion time to make sure that each week is meaningful and fun! These experiences are led by caring and background checked leaders. You can be confident that your child will be in a safe and secure classroom just steps away from our adult worship space. You can even plan your first visit and skip the check in line.

RESOURCES

PARENT/CHILD DEDICATION
We believe that parents are the primary disciple makers in the home but that the church should act as an extended family to encourage and equip you and your child. We begin this acknowledgement with parent/child dedication services. If you are interested in dedicating your child please click here.

WEEKLY PARENT GUIDE AND LESSON VIDEO
SoChurch is only with your child for an hour or so each week. We know that for continued spiritual growth you, as a parent are the key. Each week we resource our parents with discussion guides that go along with what our Preschool and Elementary children are learning on Sunday .Click here for these resources.

Youth

MIDDLE SCHOOL
Our middle school meets weekly immediately following the music time on Sundays. They have games, small groups, and teaching that is on their level. Middle School does not meet on the first Sunday of each month. This allows them to either spend a week serving or with their parents in the service.

HIGH SCHOOL LAUNCHING SOON!
We can't wait to launch our ministry for high school students! The Copes spent over 15 years leading ministries for teenagers and can't wait to partner with parents to help their youth grow in their relationship with Jesus and others. SoChurch currently helps lead the weekly FCA at Lake Buena Vista High School.

If you're interested in helping to launch this vital ministry, let us know here.

SoCommunities

In Acts 2:46 it says: "And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts"

This is descriptive, not prescriptive but it does give us a good idea of what the early church was like and what they considered necessary. So what is a SoCommunity?

SoCommunities are gatherings of people that meet regularly in homes for sermon based discussion, prayer, and mission. These groups are not affinity groups, relationship status driven, or separated by age (except for our college-aged Young Adults). They are organized based around geography. Currently we have groups as far north as Conroy Road and as far south as O-Town West. We'll help you find a group by filling out the form below.

Our SoCommunities break from regular meetings from memorial day until the start of the school year in August (our Young Adult groups continue through the summer). During the summer they will gather occasionally for fun get togethers or mission projects. This gives our host homes a break and helps ease the pressure of trying to meet around vacation schedules.

For more information on being a part of a SoCommunity please let us know here.

SoTeams

SoTeams make it all happen! We have many different teams that serve in different ways and we would LOVE for you to find your place on one of these teams. Each SoTeam has different trainings and requirements but each one gives you the opportunity to officially become a partner with SoChurch.

Let us know what teams you might be interested in serving with below and we'll be in touch very soon!
