Building Toward the Future
Frequently Asked Questions and How You Can Help
Why are we moving?
We're moving because we believe God has opened a unique opportunity to help us reach more people, more effectively, with the hope of Jesus.
Our mission has never changed: "...so they may have life." (John 10:10)
This new space gives us a great tool to accomplish that mission.
Why now?
Several things came together at the same time.
Where is the new building?
It is located on the corner of Daryl Carter Parkway & Palm Parkway, right off I-4 and within walking distance of Lake Buena Vista High School
Is this our permanent home?
No. This is a bridge, not the destination.
Our long-term dream is still to one day build and own a permanent location that can serve generations to come and we are already searching for and pursuing opportunities for this. This facility allows us to keep moving forward while continuing to pursue that future vision.
Why lease instead of buying?
Buying a property today would require significantly more money and time than leasing this facility.
Leasing allows us to:
How will this space help ministry?
Instead of only having access to a school for a few hours every Sunday, we'll have space available throughout the week.
That means:
How many people will the building hold?
The space is designed to hold approximately 400 people per service.
That gives us room to continue reaching more families while maintaining an excellent worship environment.
Why do we need to raise $1 million?
This amount will fund:
We are a people of great faith AND we want to be wise stewards. By approaching our move in this manner we are allowing ourselves the opportunity to build a simple, yet excellent facility, and grow at a healthy rate while ensuring that we are not straddled immediately with monthly payments that force us to cut ministry opportunities.
What if I can't give much?
Every gift matters.
Throughout Scripture, God measures generosity by faithfulness, not by amount.
Whether your gift is large or small, you're helping create a place where lives will be changed.
When do we need the funds?
For us to move forward, we need to have $300,000 raised by August 16. The remaining $700,000 would need to be raised by January 1, 2027.
When will we move into the new building?
Construction and permitting will take time.
It could come months sooner, but we would be in the facility no later than May of 2027.
Until then, we'll continue worshipping faithfully at Bay Meadows Elementary.
